My name is Cecille del Gallego, LCSW, CEAP (CA LCS 24126) and I am a Psychotherapist and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) Consultant in San Diego, California.

 

 

I hope you find everything that you need to help you make the important decision to embark in therapy at this juncture in your life.  I am passionate about helping people free themselves from confusion, discomfort and pain.  My sincere wish is that you invest in yourself - your growth, your expansion and your success.  This in turn will assist you in improving your relationships and the overall quality of your life. Feelings can be important markers in creating change.  Thoughts can be overwhelming and misleading so it's important to talk about them. 

 

Happiness is your birthright, however having personal challenges and experiencing stressful events are a part of life.  You may have experienced unfortunate events such as trauma, abuse and grief or loss through death or divorce.  Sometimes problems can be resolved by simply shifting your perspective, seeking support and having positive coping skills.  In other cases, you may need to go to those places you've kept hidden or secret (unconscious), in order to break destructive patterns.  We all want to be happy and we pursue this quest in our own special ways. We all struggle with our deep yearning for love, meaning and acceptance.  I am a firm believer in the healing power of relationships, especially the one you have with yourself. Congruence (being true to yourself and living a truly aligned and honest life), is a process as much as it is a goal.
